See no evil, scream no evil, hear no evil. An extension of Edvard Munch's Scream.

The three wise monkeys are a pictorial maxim. Together they embody the proverbial principle to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". The three monkeys are Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil; and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil.

Sometimes there is a fourth monkey depicted with the three others; the last one, Shizaru, symbolizes the principle of "do no evil". He may be covering his abdomen or crotch, or by crossing his arms.

An amazing application which allows you to view Flickr photos in a 3D gallery. After installing as a plugin on Firefox, just click the small triangle which appears at the bottom left of any photo and you're away.

As well as photos, you can surf video too, and you're not limited to Flickr; you can also surf Google, Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Photobucket, and Picasa - amongst others.

Had some fun making sure both shots were taken from the same place. They were taken a few weeks apart, partly to get the weather right and also for the tide to be in both times. I've also made a little video of it fading from one to the other

Flowers... Having worked in a nursery (for plants not children before you ask) the joy of flowers has stayed with me and come across to my new hobby of photography. This is a Rose token in Swansea Botanical Gardens - yes, it has one :~)

And I found this sunny delight not far outside Cardiff.

Waterfalls

Having lived in Wales all my life, I was surprised, only about a year ago, to discover its wealth of beautiful waterfalls. Perhaps it was my taking up photography that sparked me into a search for interesting subjects. Anyhow, here's one called Sgwd y Ddwli. Its in the Brecon Beacons, a few miles north of Neath.

A few more miles up the raod is the deceptively tall(80ft/25m) Henrhyd falls, my favorite to visit.

This next one is between Merthyr Tydfil and Brecon, right next to the main road.
